"Pharma" Before and After Training: Not Only Food is Important

Not only the food before and after exercise is important. And not only food supplements alive bodybuilder. It is clear that "the achievement of the pharmaceutical industry" can affect the processes occurring in the body after heavy training athletes, and to prepare him for such training is not good, if not better than "technological refinements" barons of sports nutrition.


   What can you suggest a bodybuilder for use in the run-up to training and at the end? It is not going to androgens and anabolic steroids, but a few other medications, some of which are not related to doping.

Five Simple Rules

1. In order to better fill the muscles with blood during the training, sports nutrition manufacturers recommend taking pre-workout amino acid arginine (recent addition of «NO», which in essence is the same arginine). But the problem of blood flow better yet, solve the pharmacological methods. More precisely - more reliable. To solve this problem is to use tools such as pentoxifylline or actovegin. The first - a more efficient, the second - cheaper. Actovegin is produced not only in oral form, but also as a solution for intramuscular injection (which, incidentally, quite painful, the drug should be introduced very slowly). About an hour before the workout type 2 mL (80 mg) or take 2 tablets (200 mg tablets). With regard to pentoksifellina, it can be taken at the rate of 400-600 mg and one hour before the workout.

2. It is important to energy supply and training process. You can use either a precursor of adenosine triphosphate - inosine (riboksin), or the actual ATP (ATP-long). Both drugs are available in pill form or as a solution for injection (inosine - only intravenously, intramuscularly, and ATP may be). Pills, though, it is more convenient to use, you just have to remember that the ATP-long dissolves under the tongue. Intramuscular injections can be done immediately before the workout, take pills - for 45-50 minutes before it started.

3. In order to better tune in to the gym, use caffeine. The recommendation is not new, but effective. One need only remember that the so-called "energy drinks" contain very little caffeine, as well as the fact that in excess of 500-700 mg dose in the caffeine may have an inhibitory effect rather than exciting.

4. Need to be concerned about the suppression and catabolism. Here to help insulin or dexamethasone. The second - more powerful, it is worth taking a half or two hours before the session started at a dosage of 0.5-1.5 mg. Insulin, in addition to anti-catabolic, has other beneficial effects, in particular, increases the permeability of cell membranes, and this is important, including for best performance and ATP. Both the first and the second will allow you to recover faster, so - harder and longer to train. There will be nothing unnatural in that. to use both of these drugs together.

5. If you did not inject insulin before exercise, you can do it for 10-15 minutes before or immediately upon completion of the training. As already mentioned, insulin - a very good anti-catabolic, in addition, the hormone - a guarantee that passed after a workout or in the course of its protein or amino acids will be used to build muscle, and not to provide the energy needs of the body.

   Here, perhaps, that's all. Nothing complicated about this "farmpodgotovke" No, except that the injections have to do quite a lot (though most of the drugs can be taken in oral form, which for most is more acceptable). But the end justifies the means - you can train more quality, less tired, it's easier to recover the transferred load. And then you have opened up new prospects for growth.
